House Fire Injures 2, Including Firefighter

BURBANK, Calif. (CBS) ― Firefighters rescued one person from a burning home in Burbank Tuesday night.
The fire occurred right before 11 p.m. at a residence in the 1500 block of Rose Street, near Hatteras Street. While battling the blaze, Burbank firefighters pulled one person from burning home. The victim was taken to County-USC Medical Center, but his or her condition was not immediately known.
The cause of the fire was under investigation. Firefighters extinguished the blaze at 11:43 p.m.
A Burbank Fire Department spokesperson was not immediately available for comment.
