BBQ Safety DayOn Saturday May 16th, in partnership with Kids Are 1st & State Farm, city staff will host the second  Burbank Neighborhood Family BBQ & Safety Day at Lundigan Park. Residents from all five focus neighborhoods were invited to learn about keeping their children safe in a fun-filled family environment.

Community nonprofits, businesses, volunteers, and service clubs will join in to share this wonderful experience with residents. The event will be jam packed with interactive and educational programming as well as free giveaways.

Highlights include: free car seat safety-checks, delicious food, amazing music and entertainment, fun water games and activities, safety puppet shows, an impressive opportunity drawing, fantastic performances
by Radio Disney staff, Magic by Mayseo and much more!

Over 40 community volunteers will contribute to an event that drew in approximately 800 residents last year. This May afternoon will be a true celebration of all things community!
