About the MOL Program
Leadership demands effective communication, good decision-making, managing conflict and change, and ethical behavior. These are concepts and skills that people can learn and develop.
Woodbury’s Organizational Leadership program helps adult learners develop the tools essential to success at all levels of management and leadership positions, whether it is in the public or private sector.
The one-year graduate program is delivered in small study groups that maximize learning and promote personal and professional relationships that last well beyond graduation. The Master of Arts Organizational Leadership is an intensive 12-month program. Classes are taught in a 5-week format, with 30 semester hours over 3 semesters. In Woodbury University’s Organizational Leadership programs, students participate in groups of 20 or less. Known as a cohort model, each small group studies together throughout the duration of the program.
Woodbury’s cohort program allows students to plan ahead, develop new professional relationships, and support each other while attending class. This model is especially appealing to graduate students who have been away from a classroom for a number of years. It is also beneficial because classes meet once a week, which allows more time for students to concentrate on their studies while still meeting work, family, and social responsibilities.
