itsawrapIf I were in Burbank right now, I’d be thankful for the upcoming sale at It’s A Wrap! Unfortunately, I am out of town for the holiday so I’ll have to file this under “Cool Things Happening This Week That I’m Missing.” I wanted to at least share the good news, so others can benefit from Second Annual Accessories Extravaganza at It’s A Wrap! TOMORROW, November 27th. Thank you to Los Angeles Metblogs for the good news! Apparently, the first 25 customers who spend $50 or more in the store that day will also receive a gift certificate (contact store for specifics).

If you have not heard of It’s A Wrap!, let me enlighten you. It’s a store that sells clothes, accessories and props from various studios, TV shows and movies. Most of the items in the store have a tag that let’s you know exactly what show or film they came from. When someone compliments you on a shirt, you get to say, “Yeah, it’s from [insert cool TV show here].” I love it.

There are two locations (although the Burbank store is my favorite):

It’s A Wrap! Burbank

3315 W. Magnolia Blvd. Burbank, CA 91505

(818) 567-7366

It’s A Wrap! Westside

1164 S. Robertson Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90035

(310) 246-WRAP (9727)

Recent arrivals include wardrobe from “Monk,” “Deal or No Deal,” “House,” “Law Abiding Citizens,” “Dexter”, “CSI:Las Vegas,” “CSI:Miami,” “Law and Order Criminal Intent,” “Hannah Montana,” “Angels and Demons,” Walt Disney Studios, Warner Bros. and 20th Century Fox. Browse through racks of high end labels such as Chanel, Prada, Terijon, Elie Tahari, Theory, Rebecca Taylor, Burburry, Carmen Marc Valvo, Versace, Georgio Armani, Bagley Mishka, Naieem Khan, Marc Bouwer, Roberto Cavalli and more.

I’m so bummed I’m missing the Second Annual Accessories Extravaganza! If you are in town this week, please go check out this event. Do it for me. Let me know what great clothes you end up buying so I can feel like I was there. Happy Thanksgiving!
