Even MORE Holiday Fun Coming Your Way

So many holiday parties, so little time. A friend of mine asked me last night if I wanted to hang out Friday (tonight), and I had to decline.
“Don’t you know you have to book me weeks in advance this time of year?” I asked. “It’s the holiday season!”
I was joking, of course. Seriously though, there are so many holiday events going on. Does anyone feel like their calendar for December has already filled up? So much to do and see! That’s why I wanted to keep you up-to-date on upcoming holiday events in case you missed any of them.
We’ve already talked about Burbank’s Holiday in the Park (which is going on tonight) and Burbank’s 12 Days of Holiday Cheer. But if you’re looking to get out of Burbank for a bit, here are some fun holiday activities going on nearby.
Deck the Hills! Tree Lighting Ceremony
Beverly Hills
Saturday, November 21 3:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.
“The lighting ceremony itself is always a sight to behold. Of course, Santa will be on hand along with carolers and special celebrity guest and UNICEF supporter, Monique Coleman. Coleman will flip the switch on thousands of twinkle lights on Rodeo Drive and on the pièce de résistance, the brilliant UNICEF crystal snowflake soaring over the Beverly Wilshire hotel. A grand fireworks finale caps off the evening as skyrockets will again arc across the sky above the hotel.” Click here for more info.
Los Angeles Department of Water and Power Griffith Park Light Festival
December 4 – December 30
5:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.
“This magnificent display of lights along a one-mile segment of Crystal Springs Drive has become a holiday tradition that attracts more than half million visitors each year. This festival symbolizes LADWP’s proud history and shared legacy of service to the people of the city.”

Sherman Oaks Galleria Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
Thursday, December 3 6:00 p.m.
“Activities and entertainment for the entire family! Free photos with Santa, musical entertainment, arts and crafts for kids, face painting, the Millikan Middle School Choir and much more!”
For more information, click here.
Phew! I’m exhausted just looking at this list, and you know there will be plenty more holiday extravaganzas to come. Don’t forget to save room on your calendar for baking and shopping. Time for me to compose my Christmas budget. My friends and family might have to settle for hugs this year.
Happy Holidays!
