| No CommentHalloween season is upon us. The stores are filled with candy and costumes, and Downtown Burbank will once again host a Halloween event for kids. Parents and children are invited to Downtown Burbank on Halloween from 4 pm to 7 pm for an early evening of trick-or-treating. Participating Downtown Burbank merchants will provide treats. The core area of trick-or-treat activity is on San Fernando Boulevard between Magnolia Boulevard and Angelino in Downtown Burbank. Booo-tiful Downtown Burbank is free and open to the public.
Time to start thinking about your costume if you haven’t already. So far my favorite Halloween shop in Burbank is Halloween Town (2921 W. Magnolia Blvd), which is open all year round. They’ve got a great selection of costumes, makeup, and Halloween décor, and the staff is always very helpful. Check out their website for some costume ideas.
Don’t forget these other great activities coming soon to Downtown Burbank:
Taste of Downtown Burbank, hosted by Downtown Burbank Partnership and benefiting the Burbank Community YMCA, will take place on October 1, so bring your appetite. Participants can stroll San Fernando Boulevard between Magnolia and Orange Grove and sample an enticing variety of the best cuisine that Burbank has to offer while supporting a great cause. Downtown Burbank Fine Arts Festival is one of the largest open-air art markets in the region! Twice a year, for two days Downtown Burbank streets are filled with over 100 award-winning painters, ceramicists, photographers, jewelry makers, chalk artists, roving entertainers and more. The upcoming festival takes place on November 7 & 8 (with another show available in the spring). Artists who would like to participate in the Downtown Burbank Fine Arts Festival should contact West Coast Artists at www.westcoastartists.com. West Coast Artists’ events have been among the highest rated fine arts show in California. Don’t miss this!
