princessBurbank Temporary Aid Center (BTAC) invites you to a benefit screening of Disney’s The Princess and the Frog on Monday, November 30th at 7 pm at the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank. Proceeds will help BTAC continue to aid the members of the community who are struggling financially. After the screening, guests are invited to The Ultimate Disney Experience on the studio lot in Sound Stage 3. You’ll get the opportunity to meet the Disney princesses, learn how to become an animator, experience the Bayou Adventure, and much more! Tickets are $50 and can be purchased online by visiting www.burbanktemporaryaidcenter.org.

I actually didn’t realize the movie wasn’t even out yet (I blame it on the fact that I don’t have kids), so if you’re like me and need a refresher on the story, here’s a Disney summary for you. The film is “an animated comedy set in the great city of New Orleans. From the creators of The Little Mermaid and Aladdin comes a modern twist on a classic tale, featuring a beautiful girl named Tiana (ANIKA NONI ROSE), a frog prince who desperately wants to be human again, and a fateful kiss that leads them both on a hilarious adventure through the mystical bayous of Louisiana. The Princess and the Frog marks the return to hand-drawn animation from the revered team of John Musker and Ron Clements, with music by Oscar®-winning composer Randy Newman.”
