Come Out & Dance With Orquesta Tabaco y Ron

orquestatabacoOrquesta Tabaco Y Ron’s is a 12 piece “Big-Band” orchestra, composed of musicians from all over Latin America including Puerto Rico, Cuba, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Peru, Colombia and Mexico. OTR’s high-energy, hard-edged brand of salsa music has appealed to devoted salsa dancers and Latin music DJ’s worldwide. So Join Orquesta Tabaco Y Ron’s for Come Out & Dance 2009 this Thursday August 6th.

Every Thursday in July and August, there’s a live concert featuring different types of fun dancing music at the AMC Walkway (at Palm Avenue and San Fernando Boulevard) in Downtown Burbank.

The concert festivities begin at 6:00pm with free dance lessons provided by Francisco and Stacey of The Dance Family Studio. They will teach you some basic dance moves that will be perfect for the night’s performance. Some of the concert styles include Swing, Rumba, Salsa, and Mambo.

Right after the free dance lesson at 7:00pm, the two-hour concert begins and everyone hits the dance floor!

All concerts are free and open to the public – so if you’re near Burbank on Thursdays this July and August – please come out and dance! The series is sponsored by sponsored by Downtown Burbank Partnership, Inc.
